Top Holiday Gift Idea for Children

www.jenjenkids.com is a great site, with boutique kids clothing at wholesale childrens clothing prices. It has the right mix of variety, a lot of choices without going overboard, and soon enough, I was in love with the site that I started reminiscing about my own childhood, how my dad bought my and brother new clothes every holiday season.

Believe it or not, the Holiday Season is almost among us, along with its customary rituals and feasts. Yes, and Gift giving as well. Just as if the stress of every day life, the price of oil and the forest fires are not enough, now we have to shoulder the additional stress of picking out great gifts, and get them delivered on time and without burning a hole in our pockets.

A lot has been written about Toys in 2009. How some of them are ultra cool like the Terminator or the plush Growing Puppy, or even a toy Squawking Parrot has done the rounds of email chains. Then we hear murmurs about an artificial shortage, of course the price is through the roof at 500 dollars plus. Going through all the blogs about toys, after adjusting for price, availability and boredom, I was left at the same place where I left off – Square one.

San Diego has its share of boutique shops, or so I thought. May be I will pick up some interesting gifts for my nieces. A day window shopping was spent to no avail and still my shopping list was open.

With time ticking away, I turned to the Internet. What other gifts can be given which has the children screaming for more and my banker quiet and content? Then it hit me, sometimes conventional old fashioned gifts are overlooked in our mad scramble, designer children clothes make a wonderful gift.

Armed with the knowledge that every kid likes a new dress, I started my search for San Diego Children Clothing. I wanted something unique of course, so Boutique Children Apparel or San Diego baby clothes were my first searches. With time, I understood to refine them to pinpoint my focus – Clothes for Kids San Diego or boutique childrens clothing are the ones I was looking for.

I was shaken out of my reverie by my daughter, who had decided on her dress and wanted me to buy it. With a spring in my fingers, I obliged!

Inkjet printer is any printer that places really small droplets of ink onto paper to create an image. If you ever look at a piece of paper that has come out of an inkjet printer, you know will that: the dots are extremely small, so small that they are tinier than the diameter of a human hair, the dots are positioned very precisely, with resolutions of up to 1440×720 dots per inch (dpi), the dots can have different colors combined together to create photo-quality images.

One way to create a stunning and professional looking card is through the use of inkjet card printer. Creating cards with an inkjet card printer is easy. We have different kinds of cards to meet our different need in different seasons, these includes:

How Come I Can’t Say My Product Is For Everybody When I Think It Is?

That’s a question networkers ask me a lot. And it seems so reasonable, especially when they really love their product. Three answers for you if you are wondering about this:

That’s a question networkers ask me a lot. And it seems so reasonable, especially when they really love their product. Three answers for you if you are wondering about this:

1. Has everyone bought your product?

If not, then everyone has spoken, haven’t they? Sigh. And no, it’s not necessarily that your presentation is bad. ( http://kimklaverblogs.blogspot.com/2009/04/are-you-trying-to-convert-heathen.html ) Even with the ideal show ‘n tell, there might not be a match. Not everyone plays tennis, so everyone will not buy the latest greatest tennis racquet. Some people prefer golf, so they spend their shekels on THAT.

Helpful belief 1: Recognize you are seeking just people who already share your worldview on the thing to begin with. A teensie weensie sliver of the big market out there. E.g., some people insist on organic, others buy regular, even when given a choice. There’s room for both. Depends on your values, yes?

2. When you, the sales person, is talking about your product’s wonders, your words are immediately suspect. Seth Godin ( http://www.bananamarketing.com/library.html ) writes this about that:

“There’s a huge cohort of consumers that shares the worldview that marketers are lying scum. If you, the marketer, say it, the consumer won’t believe it. If you brag about having the best service in town, these people won’t believe you. If you claim that you have the best prices or the highest scores in one survey or another, they’ll ignore you.

Subtlety matters…It’s easy to tout your features, focus on the benefits, give proof that you are, in fact, the best solution to a problem…Of course you believe the proof, but your audience doesn’t. The very fact that you presented the proof makes it suspect… If a consumer figures something out or discovers it on her own, she’s a thousand times more likely to believe it than if it’s just something you claim. (emphasis added, KK)

This is where the art of marketing occurs. For most products and sevices, skywriting, billboards and telemarketing are precisely the wrong ways to spread a message. Not because they won’t be noticed – they probalby will. But because they won’t be believed.” (emphasis added, KK)

Notice Godin refers to “the art of marketing.” It is NOT EASY. Experimentation is required. No one really has it down quite yet, including the big guys. Why not experiment with different approaches?

Please don’t hold your breath. Give yourself time so you don’t clutch up. Keep your day job longer to reduce stress. It’s OK. Stress doesn’t sell.

Belief 2. Give yourself time to learn to market and how to talk to people about your product so you 1) ask for the right ones, and 2) don’t turn them off with your words, by mistake.

3. Before you launch into how great you think your product is, TELL the other person upfront that you are marketing it. This is NOT like recommending a restaurant or movie.

You have a financial stake in the outcome of your product gushing, but not when you’re talking up a restaurant or movie. And the moment of truth is always anxiety producing for people…when the prospective customer finally asks, “So, where do I get this wonderful product?” Uh, well, I have some in my purse, or hmm, here’s a catalogue, and DON’T FORGET TO PUT THIS CODE in when you order…Argh.

And you can read her mind then, yes? “Ahh, so that’s what this is all about…”

Belief 3. Tell up front that you are selling/marketing the product you’re about to say nice things about. If you don’t, “when they finally find out everything you said about its wonders will come into question. Even if everything you said were true, the truth is suddenly suspect. ( http://www.bananamarketing.com/paperback.html ) How? By telling an authentic story about how it’s helped someone – YOU. That’s all you know for sure, isn’t it?

Hope these beliefs help you like they have me. Try them. See how they make you feel.

Wagging the Dog: Plan Ahead for What Happens After the Show

Wagging the Dog: Plan Ahead for What Happens After the Show

Preparing for post-show activities is one of the wisest decisions you can make….. By clearly deliniating your plan for after the show, you’ll be able to streamline your operation….., and maintain valuable business relationships. Key to this are….

Keywords:

It might seem a little backward. After all, why would you want to waste time and energy worrying now about things that won’t happen until the show closes? Doesn’t it seem like putting the cart before the horse?

It might seem that way, but the reality is that preparing now for post-show activities is one of the wisest decisions you can make. By clearly deliniating your plan for after the show, you’ll be able to streamline your operation, delegate people to the proper duties, ensure all leads are followed up in an effective manner, and maintain valuable business relationships. Key to this are these nine questions:

1. Has a lead taking system been organized for visitor requests?

One of the most valuable things an attendee shares with you is their questions. By asking for specific items, or special features, or novel new applications, attendees are letting you know what they are in the market to buy. However, many lead cards only record the bare minimum contact information. Make sure your team has a place to note visitor requests – and have them use it!

2. Has a daily debrief session been scheduled?

The temptation for many booth staffers is to flee the exhibit hall as soon as the show has closed, catch the shuttle bus, and enjoy the attractions of a new city. However, it is important that your team meet as a whole every evening to discuss the day’s events, enjoy any triumphs, discuss any concerns, and plan for the next day.

3. Will “Thank You” letters or e-mails be sent to every registered visitor?

In our information overload society, “Thank You” notes have become the rarest of correspondence. Yet they are a quick and easy way to let your attendees know that you appreciate their time and attention – and that you will value their future business! It’s a nice, personal touch. Delegate one or two staff members to this task, and have it done within 48 hours of the show close.

4. How will show leads be handled?

Without a system in place, lead management can be a nightmare. Some will go into the common pool, others will ‘disappear’ into booth staff pockets to be followed up independently and still others just disappear. Designate a location for all leads to be collected, and make your team aware that ALL leads need to go to this common pool. Keeping some back will skew your trade show results downward!

5. How will sales from the show be tracked?

This will differ by company, depending on the types of products or services you sell. However, there needs to be a system by which you can track sales, especially those that are directly attributable to show participation.

6. What kind of reward or recognition will booth staffers receive?

Exhibiting is tremendously hard work, especially at larger shows when your team is ‘on’ for many days in a row. Make sure to give your team a tangible reward. Yes, representing your company is part of their job – but the extra effort and preparation that goes into successful exhibiting deserves a reward. It’s nice to have a ‘known’ treat for your team to work toward, plus a ‘surprise’ to spring.

7. How will the show be evaluated?

You’ll want to know more than “Gee, we were busy every minute!” Business decisions are made with hard numbers, including the number of attendees, number of sales, number of qualified leads, and other factors. Talk with management before the show to find out what kind of information is important to their decision making and evaluation process – and make sure you come back to the office with that information!

8. Did we manage to stay within the estimated show budget?

Budgets are an invaluable trade show tool. Compare what you’ve spent to what you were supposed to spend. Are there areas you saved money – by pre-registering for show services, for example? Did you go over budget in other areas? Unforeseen circumstances sometimes push costs up, but consistently missing your targets may mean either budgets or choices need to be adjusted. Discuss which it is, and make changes as needed before the next show.

9. What other show opportunities – nationally and internationally – could be explored?

One or more of your employees should plan on attending networking events. During this time, it is a good idea to ask about other shows exhibitors have participated in. Were they pleased with the event? Will they exhibit again? Make sure this information is brought back to headquarters, where it will play a vital role as part of the first step in the next round of exhibiting.

More About Background Check

Trust is something hard to come by especially if one does not know the person. To make this happen, companies and people do background checks on the individual to avoid being swindled or victimized.

Trust is something hard to come by especially if one does not know the person. To make this happen, companies and people do background checks on the individual to avoid being swindled or victimized.

An example is when people apply for a job. The company has to do a background check to see if that individual is for real or a fraud. Human resource practioners do this by letting the applicant fill up a form.

This usually has the name of the applicant and other details such as where the person worked before. In the bottom, these people ask for 3 individuals to be used as character references that have either worked or known the individual.

Some companies do not have the budget to do this so it is left to an employment agency to do the necessary checking before forwarding the application of the person to the client company.

When calling references, questions such as how long the individual has known the person and at what capacity. If the one being called is a co-worker or the employer, questions such as what the strengths and weaknesses of the person, why did the person leave and would the company re-hire the individual if there is an opportunity.

Another way of doing a background check is going online. The person can check if the applicant has a criminal record and other important details such as the social security number that may cost a little but it will all be worth it if the person is clean.

Background checks are also done when a person applies for a loan in a bank. If this person has not done business with the bank or has only recently opened an account, this is needed to avoid being victimized by impostors or other criminal elements.

The bank will do this by asking for some information such as where the person lives, documents that may be used as collateral for the loan such as the house or the car. A check online will also determine if the person has a criminal record or not before the loan can be processed and given to the individual.

Credit card companies do the same. Aside from filling up the form, other documents need to be presented such as one’s pay slip to know how much the person is earning. Once this has been done, the creditor can determine how much credit can be given to this customer.

Some companies who are in the same industry for example retail have an association among it’s members. Should an applicant who worked in one company decide to work in another but has a bad record, that individual will be blacklisted and will surely not get the job.

Whether an individual applies for work or needs something done, background checks are needed for the safety of the firm and the people who work for it. By implementing these procedures; a person who deserves the job fills that vacancy, a loan can be granted to the right people and the person can shop until the card has reached its limit.

Security is something needed in modern society. It separates the good from the bad and those who deserve something or not. Without it, people will fall victim to criminal elements and businesses will not flourish.

What To Put On Content Sites

What To Put On Content Sites

I am constantly asked the following question:

“What should I put on my content sites?”

Of course they are asking about my traffic generation strategy where I recommend creating content sites and pushing the traffic to a product site.

I am constantly asked the following question:

“What should I put on my content sites?”

Of course they are asking about my traffic generation strategy where I recommend creating content sites and pushing the traffic to a product site.

Here are some possibilities to put on your content site:

1. A Resource Directory

Resource directories used to be a great form of content. Yahoo actually got it’s start as a resource directory. They are now the #2 most visited site on the entire Internet. The search engine ranking data (http://www.RankingFactors.com) shows that outbound links are still a positive ranking correlation factor (even though so-called SEO “experts” moan about PR leak and other such nonsense). One problem with resource directories is the level that they have been abused lately with all of the Adsense scraper sites. There are literally hundreds of thousands of useless resource directories out there now that have been created with automation.

2. Articles

Articles are my very favorite form of content for content sites. They are perhaps the purest form of content. If you think about it, a blog post can almost always also be considered an article. In fact, you may see this very blog post appear as a syndicated article soon via Artemis Pro. If you want only your own articles on your content site, a blog is a great content management system. If you want to allow others to submit articles (and this is VERY POWERFUL!), then stay tuned. I will be releasing a product very soon that makes this very easy.

3. Product Reviews

A product review is really just a kind of article; isn’t it? Normally I recommend using content sites for driving traffic to your own sites. Product reviews can be a double-whammy though. You can use them as legitimate examples of pure content on your content site (to get visitors and push them to your product sites) AND you can also include affiliate links in the product review and make some direct income.

4. Surveys

It is difficult to get a survey to match up with the Ranking Factors data, but these are a very nice way to have your users add some content to your site.

5. Forums

Forums are also very difficult to get aligned with the Ranking Factors data. They are also notorious for advertising blind spots. The visitors really focus on the forum and will largely ignore your attempts to distract them to your product site. Still, they are a great way to get a large number of visitors generating content for you. That concept of getting your visitors to generate your content is important.

6. Blogs

I haven’t tried this, but I have seen it done. The idea is much like forums, but you are providing hosting for other people’s blogs in return for your ad being on their blog.

7. Downloads

If your market has anything to do with software, a download area can draw a lot of visitors. There are other markets that are also well-suited to downloads. The most common types other than software are covered in the next three types of content.

8. Pictures

Do you have a travel site you are trying to promote? How about a dating site? Or a photography site? These are obvious types of sites where a picture content site can help drive traffic. What about your topic? Are pictures something that will draw your type of visitors?

9. Videos

Videos are quickly becoming mainstream on the Internet. Although you will need to pay for quite a bit more bandwidth when offering videos, this type of content can match up with almost any topic of site.

10. Audios

Some sites can really benefit from audios. They will take less bandwidth than videos, but only makes sense for some topics of sites.

There are probably hundreds of types of content that I haven’t covered, but that should get you started. Remember that the point of the content sites is to provide traffic that you can distract to your product sites. That means:

1. The content needs to be quality content that actually provides value to the universe. You don’t want people arriving at your product site feeling that they have been tricked by some junk page generator.

2. You don’t need some huge variety of content. A site with 5 interesting articles about the topic of your product is just fine. A site with 500 interesting articles is even better. Don’t somehow convince yourself that 5 articles isn’t “enough”… that somehow you “need” a forum, a blog, and a picture download area. You don’t. Any single form of content in any quantity is just fine.

3. A form of content that allows your visitors to generate more content is most powerful. That way you don’t have to do the work to get the traffic… your visitors do. It also adds interactivity and a feeling of being a part of that site for your visitors which will help retain repeat visitors and increase word-of-mouth traffic. I highly recommend that you focus on some type of content that is provided primarily by your users (although you may have to “seed” it yourself).

OK; I hope that answers the question about what to put on content sites. Go get to work generating some serious traffic to your product pages from your new content sites now.

Expert Witnesses Shine with Winning Word Selections

A picture may paint a thousand words, but in the expert witness field you still need to find the right words to describe your practice. It may sound easy, but it is not! Even a seasoned writer searches for appropriate language.

Why is word selection important?

Reason # 1: Attorneys and paralegals find you online by searching on keywords.

Reason # 2: Search engines categorize your website based on Metatags and keyword density.

Reason # 3: Prospects look for certain phrases when they need an expert witness with very specific experience.

Five sources for industry buzz words

Now is a good time to take an inventory of your website and promotional material. If your copy is stale, here are some good places to look for useful ideas to freshen up your own service descriptions.

Monitor competitor sites and maintain a file of “best practices.” Personalize and incorporate the good ideas into your own work to keep your website and printed materials current.

Review websites of law firms that specialize in your area of practice. Read their newsletters, articles and practice descriptions to gather ideas on important words and phrases you can use.

Take notice of the presentations being made at leading industry conferences. You will discover newsworthy subjects described with catchy titles and important keywords.

Visit industry association websites to look for fact sheets, press releases or newsletters that outline current events. Add appropriate keywords to your own website to stay up-to-date.

Explore federal, state and local government agency websites. These can be an excellent reference source for legislation, regulations and enforcement actions.

Read national newspapers, local dailies, state Bar Journals, online legal news sources and trade publications to see how emerging trends and key industry issues are described.

The “Ins” and “Outs” of good copywriting

Lawyers frequently need to know about standards and practices. Identify terms and protocols that are reasonable and customary in your field and include the technical terminology in your service descriptions.

Standards-setting organizations govern best practices in many industries. If you are an expert witness in standards issued by ANSI, JCAHO, IEEE, ISO, UL or the alphabet soup of other organizations, spell out the organization name, include the acronym and specify the standard when you describe your pertinent experience.

Industry metrics frequently guide professionals when they evaluate a situation and determine a recommended course of action. Examples include the Richter earthquake scale, the Saffir-Simpson hurricane scale or the Stanford-Binet IQ scale. You will want to document every scale in your field that you can address in a court of law.

How often have you visited a website that spouts so many generalities that it sounds like “blah, blah, blah, blah, blah”? BORING! Do not let this happen to you. You will not distinguish yourself in a crowded field by relying on general terms like “courteous professional services” or “high quality litigation services.”

Stick to the facts, describe your services thoughtfully and you will be well positioned for enhanced online visibility.

Who am I and what do I love to do? Well, isn’t this the twenty million dollar question! A more appropriate question might be “Who was I and what did I love to do?”

As you search to find yourself, and what it is you love to do, you may find the task harder than you thought it would be. Try to think about your childhood. Can you remember what thrilled you as a child? Like many people you’ve probably forgotten what brought try joy and excitement to your essence.

Children instinctively just “know” what they love. We quickly forget what makes us happy as we grow into adults. External influences eventually diminish the thought of actually “doing what we love to do.”

When I was a child I vaguely remember wanting to be a stewardess, a mother of 8 (don’t know why it had to be 8, sounds rather ambitious in today’s world), and a musician. Well, didn’t every little girl who grew up in my world want to be a stewardess? It seemed so. Or, could it have been a clue to what really was the essence of me? Maybe I longed to travel and this was what society offered at the time.

I did have a musical inclination. I seemed to learn to play clarinet fast, and was quite good for a beginner. Never got past the beginning, victim of circumstances, but that’s another long story. I could pick a tune on the piano by ear and dreamed of being able to sit down and flawlessly play the most beautiful of compositions. But, that didn’t happen.

The mom thing? Don’t know where that came from. Maybe the caring side of me. Maybe just that period most little girls go through where they emulate their mother and “play house.” Who knows?
But, I did grow up to be the mother of four. I quickly learned that 8 was really ambitious. Some days, I don’t know how I survive the four. I’m far from super mom status, but I guess I don’t do too bad.

I’ve found recently, through self searching and pondering, that the question of “who am I?” becomes increasingly difficult with age and life’s interference. Yes, life interference can be very damaging to our happiness. Our experiences tend to mold us into the person we are today. By the way, that isn’t necessarily who we were meant to be.

Have you ever longed to be able to do something you are passionate about and truly loved as a child. Maybe it’s some form of art; painting, drawing, crafting, dancing, or singing. Maybe you enjoyed building things or, taking things apart and putting them back together. Or, were you the mathematical genius in the class? Did you love to play school and teach real or imaginary children?

Childhood is innocence. As children we accept our true essence without question and pursue it daily in our real and imaginary play. It is life and life’s external influences that re-route us away from what we love to do. We are too quickly discourage from the pursuit of happiness.

It is apparent in many happy, successful, adults that there is a often a common denominator. Most extremely successful people really love doing what they do. They live their work. They strive to be better and better at it. They never dread going to work and are always thinking about new ways to improve. They simply love the work. They “live to work” not “work to live.”

America’s most famous billionaire, Malcolm Forbes, reflected this same belief, that you should do what you love to do to be successful, in several of his statements:

“Success follows doing what you want to do. There is no other way to be successful.”

“When what we are is what we want to be, that’s happiness.”

“The biggest mistake people make in life is not trying to make a living at doing what they most enjoy.”

These quotes from Malcolm Forbes pretty much sum up the importance of doing what you love to do.

Everyone should pursue what they love to do. Then work at doing what they love. You may say “It’s too late.” It’s never too late to rediscover your childhood passions. It’s certainly never too late to start getting some satisfaction and enjoyment out of life. If only for own pleasure, you should pursue what you love to do.

Whatever it is you feel you would love to do, go for it. Take an art, singing, dancing, literature, accounting, computer, home decorating ,or mechanic class. Invest in yourself and your happiness. You may find that through pursuing what you love, you will find your best work. Share your knowledge, passion, or talent with others. You will see yourself become confident and successful at what you love to do.

I found that my favorite thing to do is to simply be a housewife and mother. Maybe it’s not “just being a mom.” Rather, it’s doing the things required to be a housewife and mom. It’s not a glamorous career. But, it does require quite a few skills. Moms are usually very talented in more than a few areas; art, organization, accounting, negotiating, and decorating are just a few that come to mind.

My favorite task is saving money. A family of six makes saving money pretty much a requirement of my job but, I’ve found that I Love IT! I get great satisfaction in getting the most for my money, getting things for free, and managing a household on a very limited income. So, in order to expand on my happiness, I decided to share my knowledge with others. I actually have fun sharing my ideas and money saving tips. And, I enjoy researching and finding more money saving tips for myself and others.

Sometimes, it seems like I can’t pull myself away from my work. That’s because I love it so much. I love it, I am passionate about it, and I believe in it! Enthusiasm is contagious. If I can get others excited about saving money, then I am happy.

I don’t like the way things are looking for family finances today. It’s discouraging to see so many families in financial trouble. Maybe, I’ll help change that! Maybe you can change something too!

If you’re new to internet marketing, you may
be wondering…

“What the heck is an autoresponder?”

Of course, some of the old hats out there
reading this will scoff at that question.

They’ll LITERALLY say:

“SCOFF! An autoresponder is a program that
automatically sends out emails to your prospects!
SCOFF, SCOFF!”

Well, they’re right. An autoresponder does,
in fact, automatically send pre-written emails
out to people in a timely fashion.

BUT…

(And this is a big “but!”)

An autoresponder is actually much, much more
than just a program that sends out emails.

It’s actually…

A COMMUNITY BUILDING TOOL.

Lemme give you a quick breakdown in website
traffic to explain what I mean…

See, there are 3 types of website visitors…

There are first time visitors.

There are recurring visitors.

And then there are ADDICTS.

Recurring visitors and addicts will almost
ALWAYS buy more of what you have to sell
than first time visitors.

So in order to cultivate these two types
of visitors, marketers want to build
COMMUNITIES around their brand and products.

You’ve heard of blogs, message boards, and
content sites, right?

These are all community building tools
designed to create recurring visitors
and addicts.

But guess what?

THEY ARE ALL INFERIOR COMMUNITY CREATION
TOOLS WHEN COMPARED TO A GOOD AUTORESPONDER.

To quote Martin Lawrence:

“BELIEVE that!”

See, most people use their autoresponders
WRONG.

And the worst part is – they don’t even know
they’re doing it.

Blogs, message boards, and content sites
have the disadvantage of needing people
to come to them in order to be effective.

Emails are different.

Emails go DIRECTLY to the people.

You ever lure a dog closer to you with a piece
of food?

Well, imagine the email is a piece of food,
and your potential customer is the dog.

You can take the time to have the dog come
to you to get the food…

Or you can toss the food to the dog.

In both situations, you’re going to win
the dog’s trust. But one is MUCH FASTER
than the other.

Eventually the dog you toss the food to
will start coming to you, while the other
dog will always be a bit wary.

The same is true of email.

So a good autoresponder will get you exposure
to your customers, but more importantly, it
will begin to BUILD A RELATIONSHIP with them!

And let me tell you something: Customer
Relationships are VITAL to selling!

The customer will get to know you, get to know
your products, and get to know your company.

And eventually, be it 2 days later or 2 years
later, they will EVENTUALLY buy.

Now, imagine if every first time visitor to your
website joins your autoresponder.

Because of your autoresponder sequence, I’m willing
to bet that at least 20%-60% of them to become
recurring visitors.

And of that, maybe 10% become ADDICTS, if you
incorporate a blog or message board into your
site.

That’s when things get REALLY fun.

But make no mistake about it: It all depends on
how you set up your autoresponder sequence!

Do it right, you create a community of buyers
around your business.

Do it wrong, and you’re just wasting your time
and money.

That’s why I created the Email Rebel course.
To teach you the RIGHT way to create an
autoresponder sequence, and use your autoresponder
to create the type of community you want.

It is chock full of actual, HELPFUL information
that can really benefit your business.

Understand: I’m very disappointed with a lot
of products that are out there.

They’re just video of talking heads in a seminar
room, or mindless interviews with nothing new
to offer.

And how many powerpoint presentation do we need?
Jeesh!

That’s why the Email Rebel course is DIFFERENT
from all the other stuff you see.

Until next time…

Businesses small and large have been using MS Excel for years to run processes and manage projects. For small, simple projects Excel is a useful organizational tool. However, projects have a tendency to grow in complexity at a rate that Excel can not keep up with.

Imagine that a business needs to track projects or processes and does not have the time or budget to put a sophisticated tracking system in place. An IT department does not exist or is busy handling other affairs. Excel often seems to be the obvious, quickest and easiest resource to get things started.

Skip ahead a few months or a year later and those same Excel spreadsheets have now become a burden to the company. Many different versions are being passed around. No one knows who has the most up-to-date files saved on their computer. The project has evolved, making the spreadsheets so complex that only one person understands how to update them or even interpret them, in some cases.

It is now nearly impossible to generate reports from the spreadsheets or track progress and historical data. The data is also not searchable since Excel does not function as a database. The list goes on and on with all the limitations.

It is very understandable why business professionals turn to Excel to run critical processes: most already own a license on their desktop and are familiar with enough to quickly get the project started. They can even bypass IT altogether and maintain the Excel files themselves. The problem is Excel was never intended to be used as project management tool. It is no surprise that collaborating via spreadsheets becomes unbearable rather quickly as projects and processes grow in complexity.

Project Management software solutions such as Interneer Intellect provide business professionals with the same benefits they seek with Excel – ease of use, quick setup, ease of maintenance without IT – all with the full benefits and robustness of a database system, that is collaborative, web-based, multi-user and enterprise level. These systems even incorporated many other features that make it easier for the business users to manage documents, projects and process workflows.

Excel is best for what it was designed to do – accounting and financial calculations. Stop running your businesses on a thread and read white papers and view demos of project management software system. Web-based systems like Interneer Intellect allow for real-time collaboration between team members anywhere. The time saved using project management software will provide ROI.
